The Independent Film Institute of Utah (IFI) is a not for profit company whose purpose is to assist independent film makers gain the knowledge, experience, and opportunities to improve their skills in the independent film industry. Founded in 1998, the company has been serving up and coming independent film makers throughout Utah. After four years of being in business, the company has earned great respect among those it has served. The company has assisted independent filmmakers in making short films as well as feature films. With the advent of new technology, IFI has evolved from simply providing services and education for those using film, to include high end video opportunities and experiences. IFI has recognized the move by the independent film industry towards Digital acquisition, Post Production and Distribution.
